Top Management Night: Adapting to a Changing Global Environment

DUE TO WEATHER, THIS EVENT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED TO TUESDAY 3/21.

Tuesday March 21, 2017

Please join the Boston and North Shore APICS chapters for an evening of networking, dinner, and supply chain discussion.

It is time for those in supply chain management to finally claim the mantle of leadership in our companies! Our unique access to the mechanisms of the global supply chain, our daily involvement in operations, and our thorough understanding of customer needs and demand patterns provides evidence of our total participation within our businesses. This session focuses on the critical external and internal business and leadership issues that are prevalent in our dynamic workplace. We will take a vertical approach, looking at external global economic and geopolitical issues that influence our ability to meet our company’s critical business needs. We will also take a horizontal, internal approach where the focus will be on the use of leadership, team building, communication and conflict management skills to develop and leverage critical relationships. Attendees will develop an understanding of the principles of each area, examine how each can be used in their specific work environment, and plan for their implementation.
